Renaissance Funk Corporate Branding

The Cairns City Council contacted Renaissance Funk after the Host Company who runs their Festival Of Sports Web site was unable to realise the Cairns Council's vision, and offered up a mediocre design for the 2009 FOS. The company, who I will politely withhold their name, has a good system that they offer sporting clubs to conduct their sponsorship and registration as well as allow a web presence, but fell short in offering designs that would showcase each sports club individually and modernly. It's their system but still they saw only limitations and barriers to designing in and around it.

Enter Renaissance Funk.

We went in and then stepped outside the box. Hey presto, cool looking Festival of Sport Web site. So funky that the council asked Renaissance Funk to design and create all branding for their festival that had the same youthful and urban look and feel. DL's for the lead up Couch to 2.5 training runs, and the actual festival day DL. Plus poster and Staff/volunteer/sponsors T-shirt.

Simon Horne from Precise Machinery really wanted his company to stand out from his competitors, and he gave complete creative control to Renaissance Funk to create their whole look and feel. No one in the turf and machinery industry has a website quite like Precise, to be honest Precise Machinery are quite ground breaking, and their web site portrays that.

The funk house designed their Logos (Precise Machinery, Precise Hire, Precise Detailing etc...) Their DL's and all graphics and advertising.

Darren Hilsley from BoganBingo.com and Renaissance Funk have had a great working relationship for the past five years. Bogan Bingo was fast becoming Australia's best loved bingo / entertainment / comedy night, and were increasing the amount of shows and venues. They really needed a Web site that would let the punters know of times and gigs, as well as inform people and companies exactly what the hell they where getting themselves into, or inform them of their fundraiser, corporate, and Hens night gigs. Through word of mouth Darren heard about Renaissance Funk's Website expertise, and both have been happy working together ever since. The Bogan Bingo Web site is a really fun and graphic site, but most importantly, it is informative with heaps of great content, but in saying that, it's also very easy to navigate.

Because of the nice blend of creativity and professionalism, Renaissance Funk has been called upon to create Posters, DLs, email newsletter Templates, Loyalty cards for Bogan Bingo. We've even created the Bogan Bingo character Bogan Bob. Renaissance Funk also offered it's services for free to support Bogan Bingo's Kinglake Blanket run, where we designed invites, advertisement, and web graphics and development in support.

The rest is history.
