James Roseler has lived, loved, and also at times, struggled the life of an artist. His soul driving force has been to create an environment around him that challenges, infuses thought, snowballs ideas and inspires others.

James was born in Australia in 1973, where he still lives and paints. His earliest memories are of him as a child always drawing, which has been the case all his life. He is a self taught Artist / Web Designer who has worked and exhibited all along the coast of Australia, and has had numerous studios in North Queensland, Sydney and Melbourne.

Whilst in Melbourne James embarked on a career as an Illustrator after completing a 2 year Diploma in Illustration. Needing to present and represent himself, James taught himself Web design, (something that he felt lacked in the 2 years he studied) to be able to showcase his talent and work. From there his work has taken sharp turns to not only offer web development as a Service, but to pride himself on being amongst a new breed of designer that sees Web design as an art form.

James Roseler is Renaissance Funk, a ripening of past Art studios, Co-ops and ventures, from poetry societies to live in Art studios and galleries. He started his career selling and painting in local markets where it was a common sight to see humorous signs on his stall saying "soon to be dead artist" and "need money for wine". Well, he thought they were funny. Hmmm

James has come a long way from the incarnations of his Vagabond Art Studio in Kuranda, North Queensland, Australia. A studio and artist that has put in the hard yards to grow into a unique and talented Creative entity. With twenty years of selling and painting behind him, James has embraced the commercial art and Design world to become a professional Illustrator and designer, who covers the gamete of creation, be it fine art, illustration, web site design, writing and poetry.

James is now based in the Sunshine Coast, but offers his services to any the world over.
